IS IT POSSIBLE TO MAKE HELICOPTERS CRASH WHEN HIT BY A ROCKETLAUNCHER CRASH NOT EXPLODE IN THE AIR LIKE IN GTA IV? IF ITS NOT POSSIBLE. IS THERE A MOD THAT MAKES PILOTS/PASSENGERS JUMPOUT IF THE HELICOPTER IS CRASHING? @Cowllum try to increase helicopter's health. in hanlding meta. or damange taken settings also in hanlding meta.

@FoxtrotDelta but how much does the rocket launcher deal dmg though? What i want is that when a (police, military) or just a random helicopter get hit by a rocket launcher to the point that the engines are damage so its just gonna crash then explode. But im gonna try what you said once ScriptHookV gets updated, thanks for a helpful reply though

Helicopters could still explode in GTA IV. What you're talking about is when the rotors would be destroyed and cause it to crash on the ground and explode. I know the tiny rear rotor can be destroyed in V causing it to crash land, but I don't think the main large rotor can be, so what you're asking for is impossible.

@FoxtrotDelta Haha, true. I think all the heli models would have to be edited though because the rotors don't break in V like they did in IV. It would be a lot of work.

@cp1dell Oh so destorying the Motors causes it to crash realistic. But is there a way to make it when you shoot it with a rocket launcher it destroys the motor then crash like in gta iv? is it possible?

I don't know much about scripting, or how the helicopter hit boxes are set up, but one way possibly would be to detect where the rocket launcher hit (the rotors) and give the helicopter enough health for the explosion to not destroy it, and have the script "kill" the helicopter just like when the rear rotor is destroyed by a sniper round. Causing it to come crashing down out of control when the main rotors are hit by an explosion.
