Community reaction is crazy when game is updating/scripthook

  • Everytime when a patch/dlc has been released and scripthookv need to be updated, community start to go crazy:

    • community act like its a world problem
    • hundreds of theards appear "how to make scripthook work!!!111 how to downgrade!!!11"
    • alexander blade is getting flooded with "just update ffs or my life makes no sense!!!!11"

Guys, keep calm. There are several other games you can play during scripthook development. Or play gtav in a different way. But dont act like its the end of the world. Dont spam alexander blade and dont spam forums with topics about scripthook update etc..

Its just crazy and start getting annoying, maybe you should take a break from gta v for a long period.. really..

    Thank you

  • I wish Rockstar split single player and multiplayer completely. I don't play multiplayer but whenever it gets an update my whole game is screwed. I mean I tried multiplayer but it is a trap to make you spend more money on shark cards so I didn't like it. You are very poor you can't do anything whereas other people have flying bikes and spamming rockets to you, which is bought by either modded money or shark cards.

I come home, I fire GTA V up to relax, only find that my game is not working anymore. It is so annoying.

God gives strength to Alexander Blade.

I completely agree with you. Plus there are so many other games to begin with, in my opinion people should just move on from GTA V as a whole and go to something easier to mod and whatnot like Fallout 4 or something like that. If people want to stay, sure they can stay but they just need to learn to have a little patience and they also need to understand that it is hard for someone with things to do in their life to update something as big as scripthook every time there is an update. Even though updates are not often, when they do come it is I am sure very hard for him to update it at times.

  • Alexander Blade has to get a donation set up for these crazed fans. $$$

  • Desperate to mod? Mod a free, open source game. That's my answer. Then you don't need to wait for anything.

  • @sportcar i swear to god im pirating the next gta just so i can fucking use my mods when i want to. it feels like every time i wanna start playing again everything gets broken and i leave the game alone for another few weeks. rockstar can eat a dick

  • @Rizzle45 This is only because the update prevents ScriptHookV from being used. Pirating won't make a difference, you simply won't be serviced on GTA6-Mods.com (should there ever be one, and don't click that fucking link.)

You could pirate GTA5 now and it won't make any difference, you still need a working ScriptHookV to run mods, and that's if mods will even run on a pirated version, I heard they don't a lot of times.

if i pirated gta v right now i could still find a working version of scripthook depending on what version i download, downvote me all you want but rockstar fucked gta v for pc users in favour of their console overlords and their shitty mp. i play gta v for (modded) sp not some cash grab half baked mp. my point is that some update that only affects mp shouldnt render my sp useless because rockstar is lazy and doesnt wanna separate sp and mp. its been too many times now where i wanna go to play but i cant for at least a week because of some shitty update for mp. and i despise sp without mods, it just isnt the same. im just gunna play gta iv again.

  • @Rizzle45 Rockstar doesn't have to cater to the modding community. You're not the center of this game, and I'd recommend relaxing, waiting five days (two remaining ATM) for Scripthook to update, and enjoying the new content when mods get updated. After all, this update isn't pointless because many of us demanded the vehicles that were added.

  • @JustHelpMeFixMyMods almost all of the shit they've added i dont even use because its just some lame rocket car or something else stupid that belongs in saints row and not gta. if i wanted new vehicles id add them myself since every new vehicle rockstar has added barely takes any damage even with a deformation mod. if what they were releasing was actually quality and not some mp cash grab i wouldnt bitch half as much.

  • @Rizzle45 You can modify the visual damage in the handling file. It would only take a minute.

  • @JustHelpMeFixMyMods nah WITH edited handling its still terrible. every new car is pretty much indestructible except for doors/hoods getting ripped off, but they still get wheels kicked in easily like the non dlc cars (using realistic driving V)
