New to gta 5 and modding. Should I wait to start modding until openiv updates or is now ok?
I am not really sure what I want. I watch Stevethegamer55 and want to do that kinda mods. Cars, and the houses

You choose very wrong time to start modding GTA V. Game is recently updated, crucial things are still down.
I recommend you to start like a month later when everything is probably updated & become ready to use.

@Caseman Welcome, but as mentioned by sportscar modding is a bit on hold for people who do not know how to prepare for such updates... a new to modding person is going to have to wait until the new version of scripthook releases... should be within the next couple of days or before the end of the year... somewhere in that window.

Do all the programs have to be updated or just openiv?

@Caseman Just Script Hook V. Some other mods will probably need to be updated as well, such as Script Hook V .NET and mods that mess with memory directly (Manual Transmission mod by ikt).

I know it's only been 12 days but has there been any progress? I checked the openiv website and they didn't really have much to say.

I'd love to upgrade the graphics!
I have a i7-8700, 16GB DDR4, 256GB SSD, 1TB HDD, GTX 1080.
Will that be able to handle it?Also my ssd is almost out of space (60gb left after gta5 install)do I want run the game off of that vs my normal hdd?

@Caseman hell yeah, you can run them graphics cause the creator of NaturalVision actually have a gtx 1080 so you good to go.
and ssd's are actually more faster then ur hdd so just keep it on ur ssd and you will have a faster loading time.
