Help? GTA 5 keeps crashing before it can even get to gameplay...

I don't have any mods installed but I do have a mods folder prepped for when I want to start installing mods.
Recently an update came up that I thought made the update and x64 folder in my mods folder outdated so I went ahead and updated it. Updating both folders in my mods folder did nothing, the game still crashes. Is it related to my scripts? Do I need to remove something?
I have these scripts in GTA5.
ASILoader
ScriptHookV
OpenIV.asi
opencameraV.asi
MenyooThe only unique DLL in there so far is dinput8, which came with ScriptHookV, which I downloaded from this very site.
PC Specs:
AMD RADEON R9 290X TWIN FROZR Graphics Card
ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 BIOS
1000 GB Solid State Drive

@krashadam did you update your update.rpf inside the mods folder?

@DarthPungz Actually I just realized I didn't even install Menyoo... removing the update and the x64 folder from the mods folder apparently let the game boot as it should.
The fuck..? So... how do I get the update and x64 folders to work in the mods folder? It's been so long since I actually modded GTA5 so I'm a little rusty on some of this.

I needed to get rid of the mods folder again and I added back both the update and x64 folders as well as x64e.rpf back and things work fine. Hell, I even have Susquehanna and Project Touge to enjoy now! Haha!
I also installed a Dodge Dippy from Carface and I also got myself a 1991 Lincoln Towncar. Best fucking mods to date. I wish all of these awesome car mods were easy to install.

However... more issues persist. I get frequent lag spikes that piss me the fuck off, and not only that, during the night, when the lights come on I can see them right through fucking everything!
