Time for spring cleaning...

Hello there,
I was browsing the mod library but ultimately failed...
Is there any mod that removes (or curbs at least...) litter and trash from the streets and walkways of San Andreas? I did not notice any so far.
Strangely enough, there are mods that actually add garbage, as if there wasn't enough of it already... Even the NVR mod does it! Which, if you ask me, is stupid, as it makes the environment uglier than is really necessary...
So if you know any "cleaning" modifications, please do let me know. Thanks!

@TheMurderousCricket Often, cleaner = uglier (as in more unrealistic).
As for your request, I don't want to sound too negative, but you can forget about that. It's not that garbage props are neatly prefixed with a 'garbage_' label or something, or 'trash_', or whatever (a very few are, actually). No one who isn't completely insane will ever go thru all rage files, individually look at each and all of objects in them, identify the trash, and then search for and remove all items in their respective ymaps.
You'll just have to find a way to live with all the litter; you know, like in real life.

I'm confused... So what you say is that it is burdensome to remove trash, but still, Razed went through all the trouble and managed to add garbage to the map in the NVR...?
So is it really that hard to do it the other way round?
Heh, maybe I'm just too much of a European - our streets are garbage-free mostly.
Except for Amsterdam - it's horrible down there...
I don't know how complicated modding this would be, so you know - just asking.

There are likely endlessly more pieces of trash in-game than he added in NVR. But if you have those trash names already, then that would be a good starting point.
I still think you're underestimating the amount of trash lying around. I found individual trash props that are no more than a single dilapidated newspaper. (But maybe I'm the one overestimating the amount: there are bound to be repeats).
