How to update mods?

Hey all, I was just wondering how you go about updating the mods. I have searched the forum and not found anything. Im a first time modder and just bought a gaming pc this week. Im pretty pumped to start modding. Thanks for the help.
Also, how would I run mutiple mods. as in, id like to have the flash meta human mod, and the lspdfr mod. I know they cant be run at the same time. So i would just uncheck the one i dont want to use on the mod loader correct? thanks again all.

@xsilentsuicide If you click "follow update" button, you'll be notified when an update is available for a mod. For most mods, replacing old files is enough.
