Last thing I remember, from a few days ago, the author had said he didn't feel welcome any more on this site... for reasons (he said what the reason is, but I'll leave that for him to share, if he feels so inclined).

What a shame, it was one of the most simple graphics mods out there. No performance drops either.

Yes, it was an extremely light-weight, non-interfering/non-intrusive little graphics mod. I had made a small custom OIV package for it (along with others things I need, like custom gameconfig, custom dlclist.xml, custom startup screen, etc), so after each update, I had my mod folder's update.rpf back up to speed in a jiffy.
Good thing I grabbed 2.1.3 while it was still available.

Well that's just great. A few jerks on the internet ruined it for the entire community. I know the author put in a lot of work and it really sucks that there are just a few people out there that made him upset enough to tear it away from all the other thousands of non-jerks in the community...
That being said, if anyone grabbed it while it was up and still has a copy can you please PM me, thanks.

@joey4track I hope you're not calling "jerks" to a Moderator (me), because he went upset himself after a long and unnecessary discussion with me. Also, avoid using words like "jerk", that's totally unnecessary and is against the site rules.

@Reyser Yeah I have no idea what happened so I am using the word 'jerk' in a general sense here, not being personal lol. I was just assuming but I have no context. It's just a shame the community is losing a great mod because people can't get along. I hope you can sort out your differences! thanks

Another mod that was on my list to try that is gone before the opportunity arose.
Found a copy on a thumb drive I had. It's actually pretty nice!

well, this kinda sucks. I was looking forward to how far he'd take it. this is a real loss IMHO. I kept 2.1.1, 2.1.2 and 2.1.3 thankfully. hope he'll share on other sites.

meh, be careful what you say and do around here. the mods & admins here don't like honesty, real talk, and they certainly don't like your mods unless you're in their "clique" ask QuantV. best graphics mod this game has ever seen and the admin here ran him off.

the admins and mods are asleep here and have turned a totally blind eye to quality control.
We allow most mods so that all modders can get a chance to get criticism and get better.

We don't like anything that breaks our rules, such as offensive comments. To some people, offensive is the same thing as "honesty, real talk" even though you can be honest without being rude.

Quant is the only situation I know of where there is a supposed "clique," but Quant didn't leave because he wasn't in the moderators "clique," even though that is his opinion and is the story he tells. I can tell you've only seen one side of the story.

From what I know of the situation, most of the discussion was held privately and on Discord. Where was this deleted proof?
I did look at the QuaintV thread and saw some posts deleted.
Are you referring to this thread? There's only one deleted post on that topic, and all it says is "The author removed it."
None of this has any relevance with this topic though. If you guys would like to discuss it further please create a new topic, resurrect the "QuantV. What happened?" topic (for Quant related discussion only of course), or discuss it in PM.The posts from "meh, be careful what you say and do around here. " to "oh, if I we're being rude, you'd know it." were moved from this thread to the one we are in now. What the thread looked like before.

How am I biased? Because I'm a moderator? I never even knew about the Quant situation until I heard about it on Discord, after Quant had already left. I didn't participate, and I certainly did not, and am not covering anything up like you imply.

I'm sorry, like I said earlier, I don't know where these discussions happened besides in PM and on Discord. Anonymoused referenced the QuantV thread so I referenced that as well.

I just looked through the comments on the QuantV mod and there are no arguments there that I can find. There's only one comment that has any relevance and it's this one from Quant: "looks like Reyser hates my guts and I don't want to be where I'm not welcome." I like how you imply that moderators deleted the mod to cover their tracks, even though you have no idea if Quant did it or moderators. It was probably Quant, since, you know, he left GTA5-Mods.

@Reyser right. your tag is best graphics mod:NaturalVision Remastered. tell me again how you're not at all biased. and quantv is/was a 1000x better than that NVR trash.

@8541ss Just because I have NVR in my signature as a graphics mod preference it means I'm not impartial? Sorry but your judgement is ridiculous and out of place.
Also, as you've said on previous comments you don't have the full story (obviously, since the conversations between Quant and me were private until he started talking shit about me on his FB page), so why you persist on "talking" about this without knowing every detail?
Just forget it, this is a waste of time.
