How to remove installed mods?

  • help me,i don't understand

  • @evgenygromov0396 Just replace anything you have changed with the vanilla files you backed up (hopefully you made backups) but if not you can use OPENIV to find the vanilla files.

Normally, if he did it right, there's nothing which needs replacing to undo/deinstall a mod, as they're all in the mods folder. So, if I wanted, say, to remove my modded mpapartment, all I'd really have to do is exactly that: remove mpapartment from my mods folder. That's it (as the game would now automagically fall back on mpapartment in main).

So, again, if he did it right, there's no need to have backed up vanilla files for the purpose of undoing a mod, as those vanilla files should have stayed untouched to begin with.

Mods like scripts and such can simply be 'uninstalled' by removing their respective asi/dll files.

  • @meimeiriver yeah you're right.
