FYI, you don't need everything!

Yes, another FYI.
Thing is, I realized a lot of ppl are running out of DLC space. While it may not be officially limited, each DLC added takes up a lot of 'reserved' room anyway (like adding 10 DLC's, each with 1 car in it, is absolutely not the same as adding just 1 DLC with 10 cars in it).
So, then, one day, it hit me: you don't need everything per se. Like, currently, I only have the following DLC's loaded:
<SMandatoryPacksData> <Paths>
platform:\dlcPacks\mpBeach\

platform:\dlcPacks\mpBusiness\

platform:\dlcPacks\mpBusiness2\

platform:\dlcPacks\mpHipster\

platform:\dlcPacks\mpIndependence\

platform:\dlcPacks\mpPilot\

platform:\dlcPacks\spUpgrade\

platform:\dlcPacks\mpLTS\

dlcpacks:\mpheist\

dlcpacks:\mppatchesng\

dlcpacks:\patchday1ng\

dlcpacks:\patchday2ng\

dlcpacks:\mpchristmas2\

dlcpacks:\patchday2bng\

dlcpacks:\patchday3ng\

dlcpacks:\patchday4ng\

dlcpacks:\mpluxe\

dlcpacks:\patchday5ng\

dlcpacks:\mpluxe2\

dlcpacks:\patchday6ng\

dlcpacks:\mpreplay\

dlcpacks:\patchday7ng\

dlcpacks:\mplowrider\

dlcpacks:\patchday8ng\

dlcpacks:\mpapartment\

dlcpacks:\mplowrider2\

dlcpacks:\mpjanuary2016\

dlcpacks:\patchday9ng\

dlcpacks:\mpexecutive\

dlcpacks:\patchday10ng\

dlcpacks:\patchday11ng\

dlcpacks:\mpimportexport\

dlcpacks:\mpbiker\

dlcpacks:\patchday12ng\

dlcpacks:\patchday13ng\

dlcpacks:\mpspecialraces\

dlcpacks:\mpgunrunning\

dlcpacks:\mpsmuggler\

dlcpacks:\mpchristmas2017\

dlcpacks:\mpassault\

dlcpacks:\patchday14ng\

dlcpacks:\patchday15ng\

dlcpacks:\patchday16ng\

dlcpacks:\patchday17ng\

dlcpacks:\patchday18ng\

dlcpacks:\peds\

dlcpacks:\combi\

dlcpacks:\addonmaps\

dlcpacks:\CustomMaps\
</Paths> </SMandatoryPacksData>
(The last 4 are custom, of course). Like do you really need that 2015 Xmas tree popping up once a year? Or an old sweater. YMMV, of course (and you may need a specific car from a DLC I left out, etc), but I found out I really don't need everything. And I have yet to miss an item I've been using.
Tl;dr: do a little spring cleaning, every once in a while, and have a much stabler game because of it.

@meimeiriver True. I have only 5 very special vehicles and the mapfix for online Interiors added. Imo we have a sh*tload of vanilla vehicles already and I don't need any more. Well, a convertible electric car would be nice.

Indeed. Like mpairraces, who really drives around in these mini-cars?! Probably someone, but not yours truly.
The thing is, at every new official DLC added, Rockstar expertly (of course, it's their own game) adjust their own gameconfig to hold the new DLC. But then the beauty is, if you just ditch an older one, you have de facto created extra room for own stuff to run stable in. My game can now run for 3 hours on end, without crashing. Which, as you know, is quite a feat for this game.
