Please? Has nothing to do with modding the game, and who sits there and stares at the loading screen anyways? With well over a hundred to date, can we not bury this obnoxious trend once and for all now?

1. it modifies the game, so it is a mod by definition.
2. what defines a mod as "having to do with modding", and why do mods have to do with modding?

I don't see anything wrong with "this obnoxious trend". I hope you know it is possible for people to have different opinions and enjoy different things than you.
