@SetiscopesYT That mod doesn't seem to support liveries. Someone else asked the author to add livery support but I have just got the latest version and it doesn't have it yet.

Wrong category. Moving you over to the Requests category.
-
@LeeC2202 he didn't as for livery support, i think he just needs this Skin.

@FoxtrotDelta Based on him saying "Looking someone to help me create a livery for 2016/2017 Ford Focus RS Mod" I presumed he wanted a car that would accept a full textured livery.
Of course, I don't know a massive amount about how the texturing works (on the GTAV cars that is...), so do you know how to apply a full body texture to a standard decal based UV map, without adding livery support?
-
@LeeC2202 if the model is unlocked. yes. i know how to do it. if it is locked, it gets tricky. but could be done. would be difficult and time consuming though.
-
@FoxtrotDelta So you'd basically create a full UV map for the whole car... am I right?
See from the perspective of a modeller, I consider a livery to be a full body texture, as a livery is defined as an all-over paint/colour scheme etc...
Perhaps the confusion comes from GTA using the term liveries as a means to add multiple textures to the same model. I think we mean the same thing but with slightly different references of terminology. I'm use to locomotives in the UK with different liveries, so that's where my thinking comes from. Old head, old habits.

@LeeC2202 usually there is a texture file. or a few texture files which go ontop of each part of the car's parts. you can edit those too. if the car uses no clear texture and only shader adapters, one has to create the UV map.
-
@FoxtrotDelta Yeah, when I went looking through the textures for that Focus, it seems all decal based... individual badges all in one texture etc... so that made me think it's set up to use solid colours with placed details. I think it is going to need a full UV map to do the paint scheme in that picture...
I know I wouldn't fancy painting that with the existing UV map... and I'm a glutton for punishment.

@LeeC2202 if i had interest in making car mods. i would do it easily. i already have the textures. its just a matter of applying them to each part. which on cars is not that hard. on an aircraft. its a headache, and the bigger the aircraft more, booring and tiresome it gets. anyways. i hope someone helps him out . if the car model is unlocked. it could be done quickly.

@LeeC2202 ok thank you, for your help!
