Need help with combining SPG and SPA mods

Is there a way to have office garages working without SPG? cuz I prefer having SPA but that would conflict with SPG. Any mod suggestions or a way to get this to work. Thanks in advance
-
@OneShotDown SPA and SPG do not conflict with each other. I have both running in my game since like forever and no problems. I recommend you install OpenAllInteriors and OnlineInteriors alongside with Simple Trainer for your needs (uninstall other trainers due to possible conflicts).
IMPORTANT: Make sure to set RefreshGarageVehicles to "False" in the SPA setting.cfg or the vehicles of the last visited SPA garage will spawn in your SPG garages. This is a bug in SPA.

@Cyron43 Btw thanks for referring to the RefreshGarageVehicles it did help However, I do have few things to point out and I would really appreciate it if u can help me out with them.
-
I get like 30 fps drop when both are installed together. Is there a fix for this? I tried disabling some of the apartments in
SPA to reduce the fps impact, Is there anything else I can do to minimize such impact? , Whats your average fps btw? -
I know these might be small issues not major ones but it would be nice if those can be fixed:-
when u r inside the garage u get 2 markers for managing your vehicles one from each mod which makes it confusing
to manage your vehicles.
Lets say I bought a SPG that is related to a high-end apartment and then went ahead and bought the apartment itself
the SPG that I bought earlier wont be accessible unless I sell the apartment.
Last minor issue is that when you are in any of the SPG, if u go to the elevator it will tell you to press E to enter the
apartment even though you are in a garage that's completely far from that apartment and btw if you have not bought the apartment you will be trapped inside unless if u use a trainer to get yourself out
Again sorry for a long read and thanks in advance for your help

- That FPS drop is due to... how to say it politely... 'non-optimized' code of SPA. So it's kind of natural and actually there's nothing you can do about it.
- I know those problems with overlapping markers from SPA and SPG. Luckily SPG comes with an editor. Open the SPG menu and choose "Edit garage" (or something like that. I can't remember off hand). Then move those markers as necessary. Please make a backup of your SPG garages folder before you start editing. You can make a rollback in case you mess up something.
- Oh one more thing about RefreshGarageVehicles! Since this is false now, you will notice that you don't see any (or not all) vehicles in a SPA garage at first visit. Here is how to solve this. Go to the light blue marker and press E. Choose any vehicle from the list and choose "Edit number plate". Once the text box comes up where you change the number just press ESC once and wait a second. You will see all the vehicles spawning. Leave the edit mode with ESC (or was it Backspace?) without changing anything.
- No need to feel sorry for the long text. It's necessary. We couldn't help without sufficient information from your side. You have done everything right.

@OneShotDown There is one thing you could do us a favor with (for other users who search for help regarding this). Please change the title of this thread to 'Need help with combining SPG and SPA' or something of that matter.

@Cyron43 Thanks a lot for your help man , I cant seem to find an option for editing the topic title.... is it supposed to be in topic tools?
-
@OneShotDown Just go to your first post and choose edit from the menu that pops up when you click on those 3 dots at the right.

SPG is pretty old, isn't it?! How can it support Office garages to begin with?
My experiences with SPA differ from that of @Cyron43, in the sense that I don't notice any FPS drop with SPA. So, I'm simply using SPA instead.
Thing is, if you prefer SPA, then why even use SPG? SPA comes with a conversion tool, to import the old SPG garages.

@meimeiriver The great thing about SPG is it's expandability and I don't need to buy an apt (as in the official SPA release) in order to use a garage. Here is how to add another SPG garage:
- Find a place where you want an additioanl garage.
- Make a copy of any suitable garage folder. With suitable I mean you need to make the right choice between 2, 6 or 10 slots garage.
- Rename the copy of the garage folder to anything suitable
- Create a 16 digit unique ID consisting of upper case letters and numbers.
- Go to your new garage folder (scripts\SinglePlayerGarage\ [GarageName]\garage\Floor_x)
- open the config.xml and replace the ID within the UniqueID tags with your new unique ID
- Repeat steps 4 to 6 for all floors
- Restart shvdn in order to have SPG load the new garage.
- Enter SPG edit mode and set all outside markers, sell sign and cutscene camera nodes to appropriate positions.
Notes:
- Since the interior is always the same instance you most likely don't need to change anything there.
- If the garage you copied has vehicles, you need to delete all vehicle_xyz.xml files in your copy.
- You can add or delete floors as you please.
So if I had to decide for either SPG or SPA I'd rather toss SPA into the bin, if you ask me. Even more because SPG causes no performance issues.

@Cyron43 When I first started with SPG, my game would constantly crash when exiting a garage or something. In hindsight, this was probably due to the fact that I had no clue about modding yet, and my install was likely messed up for other reasons than SPG. Tl;dr: reading the above, I'll give SPG a chance again.

Yeah, it's all the same (underground) instance of the one 10-car garage anyway.
Adding directories, btw, also means I'll be able to delete them, I reckon. That way I could only make extra garages for places not yet defined in SPA.

Exactamundo dude. :D
Just don't forget to delete the unique ID of a purchased garage out of SPG_UserData.sav (in GTA V root installation folder).

I forgot one important thing. Sorry for the late reply but my router went kaputt over the weekened.
SPG can not handle special vehicle paintings, decal colors and other stuff which came with the Lowrider update because SPG went out of maintenance before that.
