Loading into Prologue with mods

as some of you may know, my computer decided to shit on me so i had to reinstall windows. I luckily managed to get my entire gta folder onto a backup drive so i could install it onto my HDD when i reinstalled windows. unfortunately, i couldn't access my documents to get my game saves so i'll have to do the first few missions again, but obviously i have all my scripts, menu's etc in my folder so will it be okay to do the first few missions with them in?

@Reacon From what I know the mission system doesn't like a modified gameconfig. Anything else like script mods should be fine but don't take my word for granted. If you still can't play missions I suggest you deactivate openiv.asi by renaming it to openiv.asi.off.

Yeah, Dilapidated's gameconfig is great! But sometimes, too high values in certain areas (documented by him as well, btw) will simply cause some missions to not start: especially the optional, side-missions. Not sure why, though, but I noticed this myself too.

@meimeiriver I can't even play a round of Golf anymore with it. No towing missions and Taxi missions as well.

I guess you've already considered using ultimate-100-perfect-game-save-flava0ne or a starter game save, just after the prologue

@R3QQ Personally I don't like those 100% savegames because they all introduce major disadvantages like all businesses purchased (those phone calls from the managers are just a nuisance for me) and/or a wardrobe full of clothing and sunglasses I don't even like. Please prove me wrong and show me a 100% save without additional businesses purchased (except the ones we get with the missions anyway) and a clean wardrobe. I'd like to have that because I'm stuck at something about 90% because the last Dominator mission doesn't show up in my game, never has.

@Cyron43 Well....see man, I have a flavaone save. In it, I turn off messages, so my phone is quiet at all times. Clothes? Well, I have replaced them all with my own variants, so it's moot. BTW, I cannot even remember the last time I changed them. Playing in first-person, I don't even see what I am wearing LOL.

@R3QQ i already have my . own 100% save, just needed to do the prologue to get the saves folder
