Getting Zlib Err 2 when spawning insurgent2 unmodded

I have a heavily modded game that has taken me some time to achieve. I am normally able to play for 7+ hours without any crashing. Lately I've been getting crashing when spawning the insurgent2 model through Menyoo. I have already tried replacing my mpheist/dlc.rpf folder with the vanilla folder/rpf file with no luck. Does anyone happen to know the root cause of the zlib 2 error or even where to begin my troubleshooting?

Part of the issue is that your game is heavily modded. IMHO, you'd need to reset to vanilla (assuming you've backups of that and of the modded so that you can easily switch back and forth). go to vanilla and try each mod by itself one at a time to see if the error happens again. After that try them in stages, such as start with mod1 and add mod 2 and then test the game. if error free, add mod 3, test. rinse and repeat until you've isolated the source. It's extremely tedious and time-consuming BUT it will help you narrow down a possible cause as it could be a mod conflict, or even a mismatched folder somewhere.
