Modified files and now game won't load

Hello, I modified my handling.meta and vehicles.meta file to accommodate for a new mod I was installing. I copied and pasted everything correctly as far as I can see, however now I can't load my game up. The only difference that I notice is that the files are not encrypted anymore, would that be an issue?

Have you used the OpenIV mods folder method?

@ikt Yes. I have separate for mods and vanilla. It loads without any mods active.
