Well good people, another GTA Online update will soon be upon us therefore so will all the "my mods don't work after the newest update" posts so here's a quick little warning before this nightclub update comes out in July.
BACK UP YOUR FILES!!!(more specifically, your update.rpf, and all the .exe's)

why bother with all that foolishness when all you need to do is grab BlockGTAV.exe. pretty simple.

@Cyron43 yeah I didn’t know about it either until I seen it mentioned on YouTube and I agree. Another BS update we have to deal with yet again

@Reacon Thanks for the heads up. Personally I have 2 installations of GTA (not ideal but works). My Vanilla version is the one that updates every time and my modded version I use the bypass launcher. At times it will give me trouble signing in and the code being used or some shit in which case i just boot up the vanilla version and that sorts everything out. Hopefully they stop releasing these updates soon so we all can update and be done with it lol

You know when this ends? When GTA V gets old. Which I guess will happen in about four, five years. Maybe earlier when GTA VI comes out.
The same was with LA Noir - it got old and Rockstar was no longer interested in updating it, OR trying to control running it through the Social Club.
The only question is what is going to happen with Rockstar Editor and Director Mode, which won't work without the Internet connection.
Regardless of whether you use Launcher Bypass or not. This is my only concern.

I certainly hope so.
While I can (kind of) understand a merit of having text and title-censoring done via means of Internet, some examples are outright ridiculous.
Take my first video as an example - I couldn't save it with "Thank you for watching!" ending caption. Editor accepted my input only after I changed it to "Thank you for viewing!".

because you're going to want to update your game to fix bugs and of course enjoy that new DLC so that program is bound to help with nothing.

@krashadam right? the program will help with nothing. save for the fact it will allow you to continue playing until all the mods you use are updated. yeah, that seems kinda dumb. you're right. why bother.

@TheMurderousCricket actually, the only things you can't do while being offline is:
Unable to use the GTAO character(s) in Director Mode
As for the R* Editor, you can't save the project with a custom name (aside from Project 1, Project 2, etc) and, but i'm not 100% sure about this, you can't export videos (even with names such as Project 1, Project 2, etc)

@Alex106 Yes, this is what I talk about. I don't know why the #$&#@ would Rockstar care how I name my vidoes or project files...

Update comes tomorrow so if you haven't already backed up your files i highly recommend you do so now

@Reacon So does this mean i have to backup my mods folder? the latest script hook (yes i thought i backed that up) prevented it from starting.

@Reacon I'm New to this and i just got the game on sale the other day and i accidentally lost those files in question not realizing this would happen. should i just wait?

@WestleyWolf yeah just wait, it’ll be a few weeks max until script hook gets updated then all the other mods like menyoo will follow shortly after
