make it so when you fight people you can do different kicks, knees, elbows, slams/takedowns (especially), ground and pound, and make it bloodier and bust their face up, would be awesome
-
@Mass385 That won't be easy nor possible at the moment because animation editing isn't possible.
-
So you just can't do it at the moment or at all?
-
@Mass385 Not just me, nobody, because as I said before
@krashadam said in UFC moves:
because animation editing isn't possible.
-
@Mass385 Animation editing is supposedly in the works by the OpenIV Team, but as of right now it is impossible.
-
@Jitnaught Thanks! Can't wait for when it's supported.
-
Isn't animation editing what you use to make the superhero mods?
-
@Mass385 You can only use animations that are in the game. Import of anims from other games, is impossible right now.
-
This post is deleted!
-
Then how were they previously able to animate things like goku and thanos plus with all these powers/attacks on top of that which weren't even in the game itself either, I don't get it really
-
Like Gokus spirit bomb for example, that wasn't in the original game, someone had to animate it themselves
-
@Mass385 They had to use existing animations, probably using tricks like changing the speed, playing at specific moments, and pausing at certain moments for certain amounts of time.
-
Like I was saying I've never seen any animation in the game that looks like a spirit bomb, even the flash mod, look at all the different moves he has which I've seen no animations of in the game, somethings not adding up
-
@Mass385 Dude, you can check yourself if you'd like. If those mods are installed via OpenIV then open the OIV file with 7-zip/WinRAR and browse through the files which will be installed. You'll find files like models and scripts, but no files related to animations will be there (no, animations can't be created nor stored in models or scripts).
You could also decompile those scripts to see what animations they use.
-
@Mass385 As Jitnaught said, Flash Mod (made by JulioNIB) not uses new animations, JulioNIB developed a blending system to take fragments of animations in upper and lower body, and mix them to be used in sequence but always are simple movements to not affect so much the game performance.
We need to wait Yes or YES for OpenIV animation tools for complex animations like UFC combat.
-
Ok I get it now
-
Well i hope they open it
