Something is in my DLCpacks I have NEVER seen before
-
I discovered this by accident. In my vanilla assets, I found a DLC pack called mpbattle, and there is NO reference to it in the DLC list. WTF?!? Amazingly enough, there somehow is not one in my mods folder. How can this be?
-
@eshenk its the after hours dlc
-
@Reacon WTF?!? I don't have that update though.
-
@eshenk maybe it got left behind when you installed your backup, since it isn't being replaced by anything since it didn't exist when you backed up:)
-
@Reacon No man, this update folder is BEFORE After Hours. My guess is must have pre-downloaded, and would not activate until I actually updated it. Pretty clever, but doesn't hurt me since it doesn't even load.
-
@eshenk did you have to update your game then you installed your back up?
-
@Reacon Well yes, but everything was overwritten with the Super Sport update folder....Somehow mpbattle managed to find it's way in....like I said, there is NO entry for it in my dlclist.xml
-
@eshenk thats what im saying. mpbattle couldn't have been overwritten by anything because it doesn't exist in your backup. the dlcpacks folder only overwrites the dlc.rpf's in all the folders. check and see if you have patchday19ng too
-
@Reacon WOW. WTF?!? I do....I just don't get it. I did not update the game, I overwrote what was updated with my original copied update folder from SS DLC.
-
@eshenk update added them in and your backed up update folder kept they new folders there because it can't delete, only overwrite but had nothing to overwrite for them so kept them there. only reason they're not in your dlclist is cause that got overwritten
-
@Reacon Never seen this before. Anyhow, it is what it is.
-
@eshenk i keep it in to use the new vehicles and play as tony from tbogt lol
