Modded car rolling when turning

  • I've got a few cars that I have recently downloaded that roll a lot easier than a robing reliant .
    I've tried changing the vehicle.meta of the slot there in to a more stable car but it does not change anything.
    I've also tried changing the handling lines but still not working .

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • That sounds like you're handling meta , for a quick way to cure it go to the cars vehicle meta edit the handling name and put internus save then start your game and see if that's worked , that's what I do for quickness.

  • @Crash_bandicoot_101

    Quickest & easiest way to fix the rolling/flip over etc while keeping the handling intact is to edit 'handling.meta' & lower the 'z' value (3rd one) for:

          <vecCentreOfMassOffset x="0.000000" y="0.000000" z="0.000000" />

    Lower it by ~0.1 each time & test in-game or lower by ~0.5 each time until you get a car that lifts up on the outside when cornering (ie opposite of tipping over) & then raise the value in ~0.1 increments until you get close to what you want. Tweak to finalise.
    Note: The value can be negative (-) if required (it usually is :slight_smile: ). :thumbsup:

  • I know that this topic is really old, but to people who still need help, the problem can also be the suspension.
    Take these options:
    <fSuspensionUpperLimit value="0.090000" />
    <fSuspensionLowerLimit value="-0.140000" />
    And keep these values as close to 0 as you need. This is also a good combo with the fix mentioned by @a63nt-5m1th and you should only use this one if the trick above doesn't work.
