Markdown for mod descriptions (and OP posts)

I'm spoiled by Markdown, and HTML-ified BBcode (or castrated HTML, depends how you look at it) just isn't as nice to use. Are there any plans to add support for markdown on the main website?

@ikt It would be a nightmare for me to convert all the existing descriptions to Markdown, and then change up the formatting that mod authors are already used to. I'll see if I can support both at the same time, but it may not happen, sorry!
