Stacking Redux + NVR issues

When stacking both of these mods, I'm trying to understand what ends up being overwritten in each mod by the other. The way I have things installed currently, NVR is overwriting that brilliant blue Redux sky with the white puffy clouds. I t actually didn't matter what order I installed them in, NVR still overwrites the Redux sky. This is the only thing immediately noticeable as far as one overwriting files from the other.
Is there anyway to control this, like we do in mod organizer with skyrim? I wish I was able to choose which files have priority etc.
