Game crashing when shooting planes during the Meteors mod

So, I've been using the Meteors mod (NIB Style) for a while and for some reason when the big fragmenting meteor comes down, a plane spawns and flies by me. For some reason, when you shoot these planes down, my game freezes, sound stops feeding and eventually the game crashes. Also, whilst using the NIB Mods menu, my tornado script also won't work. Any ideas of what's going on?
