Texture quality on vehicles issue
-
Hi all,
I've been modding and playing gta for many years now, thanks for all the mods you are all putting out, it's made this game so incredible.

I am trying to take nice photographs of cars in game for a project, whenever i shoot them I see dashed lines on the joins between the panels (textures?). This really breaks the realism of the shots are was wondering if any of you had any idea? I presume it's an issue with AA but nothing i do changes it.
My process is shoot in GTA SP and then use Rockstar editor to take the screenshots.
My GPU is a GTX970.
I've attached an example below, any help would be great! Thanks
Matt

I don't see what it is you're talking about.

you assume correctly
only way to reduce jaggies is by downsampling so take the screenshot in 4K and present it on a smaller res
optional you can still mix that up with all ingame AA options enabled (MSAA, FXAA and TXAA)
and/or even use ReShade for additional MSAA and FXAA and ENB for some extra MSAA on reflections
then head over to Nvidia Control Panel for even more settingsprevious threads on this:
GTA V Jaggies Worst Ever!
Does DSR do anything?

Thanks for the response. I had a bit of an indepth play lastnight and set it to 4x Sparse Grid Supersampling (sgssa) and it's worked a treat. Major FPS drop but when im taking screenshots that's not a big deal!
