Mods not registering on Non Steam GTA

So I tried a mod and it didn't load. I'm using the social club version of gta. When I put it in my directory the game just ignored it. What do?

Make sure you have all the basic script requirements like scripthook, scripthookvdotnet and such.

If it still does not function, it's probably a dead script (outdated)

@catcontrol98 check asi manager in OpenIV if you have installed both ASI

@catcontrol98 Which mod did you try to install? are your other mods working? We could use a little more information check here
