Question about textures/livery

Learning how to make livery's for vehicles and was wondering if I ever wanted to uploaded the texture with someone else vehicle model would I need permission or just give credit to the author of the vehicle model?

you'd need specific written permission to upload files you did not create, avoid going this route

best is to only upload the textures you created and add a link to the original model in the description
