RDE crashes after cops start chasing me

So I finally got RDE 3.1.1 to work after installing it and the fix that was posted in their discord. I also installed this https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gta-5-gameconfig-300-cars because I saw some other people saying that it was needed.
I can load into story mode just fine. My problem is that after 5 or so minutes pass by after getting a wanted level, my game crashes. Keep in mind, I'm not really an expert on this stuff. In fact, I'm quite new to modding.

The RDE specific gameconfig.xml made by dilapidated also edits poolsizes specifically to police interactions. It even says so inside the file
The one you installed hasn't
Put both files next to each other on your desktop and compare poolsize values
