Sound Modding
-
Hi guys. I have a question about sound modding. I downloaded Huracan V10 mod for one car but I want to use it in another (my Lamborgini huracan mod uses same sound as feltzer). How can I change this sound?
ps. sorry for bad english

- Go to vehicles.meta in the dlc.rpf,
- Change <audioNameHash>feltzer</audioNameHash>
to something like <audioNameHash>INFERNUS</audioNameHash>
You can type any vanilla car name between <audioNameHash> and </audioNameHash>. - Save and replace the vehicles.meta.

@Akila_Reigns You know I thought about adding new sound. What name of the engine I have to swap...
Ex: supercar_5_jp_v6.awc or something like that

How can I change this sound?
It says "change" not add.
So, do you want to add completely new sound, like from a real life Huracan?
-
sorry for my mistake. I wanted to ADD new sound
-
@bonecki97 Try this, I haven't tried it, so I don't know whether it's good or not.
-
ok. Btw what's the name of feltzer engine sound (.awc)?
-
@bonecki97 Feltzer is a Sports car, Based on several Mercedes Benz cars and is made by German car manufacturer Benefactor.
So I think it's one of these.

@Akila_Reigns
Hey have you had any success with minor edits to any vanilla engine sounds without them crashing?
-
@rastakilla If you meant replacing .awc files with sound mods downloaded from this site, I haven't tried it yet.
@bonecki97 That sound mod replace the Coquette Blackfin sound, so you can replace it and change the sound inside vehicles.meta like I said.
