File Size 0kb After Replacing File With Edited Model
-
I've tried many different things to fix this, but nothing has worked. After editing a model in Blender after converting it from yft to obj, I open up the model in ZModeler3, replace all the necessary textures, and convert it back to yft. After replacing the model in OpenIV it shows that it has a file size of 0kb and no attributes. It only happens after editing a model, not adding something to it. Anyone know why this might be happening?

Are you editing a vehicle or a PED model? I’m not familiar with vehicle modding, but for peds, the yft contains the skeleton of a PED that can be used as the structure for a new PED. I do remember encountering your problem, can’t remember the problem, but it had something to do with how I exported the model. If it’s a vehicle mod you are working on, can’t help ya there.

@MegaDeveloper I'm trying to edit vehicle models.

@EastCoastShepard Make sure that when you export your vehicle, it has the same name as the name you assigned it on the sidebar. If they don't match, Zmodeler will export a blank file.

@JustHelpMeFixMyMods So it should be exported under the same name everytime I export it whether it's from Zmodeler or from Blender?
-
@JustHelpMeFixMyMods Well now I'm having a problem where I can open up the file, but nothing shows up when it's open. Also, in Zmodeler, after importing the OBJ files the taillights and headlights show up without a texture.
