Better Vehicle First Person 0.9 mouse steering

Since the ScriptHookV update on the 18th, the mod https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/better-vehicle-first-person which is the best driving mod ever made for GTAV, mouse steering has stopped working in first person.
When going into first person and trying to mouse steer by holding the left mouse button, moving the mouse turns the sirens on as if I was to 'blip' them. I've spent the last few days trying to sort this because it is the best mod for driving out there and feels great to use.
I've discovered only 3 basic things
- it happens on a fresh copy of the game with no other mods installed
- when in game and trying to steer, it isn't clicking Mouse1 that makes the siren blip it's when I move my mouse, so if I shake my mouse the siren goes mad
- and finally changing all the settings you can think of in GTA (keybinds included) does not help, even changing the Override Mouse Steering Control key to blank and setting the Mouse Driving Control setting to Vehicle instead of Camera does not help.(https://media.rockstargames.com/rockstargames/img/global/news/upload/actual_1429368404.jpg)
PLEASE, someone must know where the source code is for this mod and they can have a look to see where the conflict is being made between moving the mouse in first person and for some reason the game thinking you are pressing E/G.

It's a .NET mod, so it can be easily decompiled. I'll take a quick look at it soon.P.S. Stop spamming the mod page asking for it to be updated.

My guess is that the latest uploaded version of Script Hook V .NET isn't updated for the latest game version. The source code seems to be updated for the latest version though, so try the latest build from the build server: https://ci.appveyor.com/project/crosire/scripthookvdotnet/build/artifacts

That version just seems to stop working. Nothing being loaded from inside scripts/

Basically it's rejecting the scripts because it's not allowing older version requests. Please tell me there is another branch of this I can use or a fix for ScriptHookV somehow making my mouse a siren controller

Tried it out myself and I see what you're saying. Seems the automatic build isn't given a version number, so it's compiled with the version number of "0.0.0". That means you'd probably need to compile SHV .NET manually, creating an environment variables named "SHVDN_VERSION" and set it to 2.x.x, replacing the x's with any number.
I don't think Script Hook V is the cause of this. I think Script Hook V .NET is the cause of this, because Better Vehicle First Person uses a function that needed to be updated for the latest version of the game.

I tried lots of times to get Visual Studio compiling it, but I just can't. Please is there any chance you have a version to compile or can send me an edited version that doesn't ignore scripts if they requests a different version? Anything please man I want my first person driving back

NEGATIVE NEGATIVE OVERSituation sorted! thanks jitnaught and ikt even though it took 2 weeks of me asking for you to send that dll. Thank you guys so much this mod is brilliant, download it and you will see why I had to get this fixed. Works a treat after editing version.txt.

It's just the website being blocked. Maybe it's known for sharing of malware, I don't know for sure.
It's not the file ikt uploaded being marked as malware.

This site needs some sprucing up regardless.
Not just these forums. For example there are tons of missing images and dead links to older pages with .html extension that redirect to .htm and give 404. The main site has quite a few bugs, the upload section is slow as fuck and I can't change my forum profile picture because it has been unassociated with the main site avatar.
Still the best modding site and community there is
