Mouse steering for Bikes

I'm sure this has been mentioned and documented so many times before, But its impossible to steer bikes using the mouse. Cars are totally fine using a mouse, but with bikes a soon as you move the mouse left or right to steer its full turn. There's no gradient for mouse steering.
So I was wanting to ask 2 things about this:
- Has there ever been a mod that fixes the mouse steering for bikes?
- If not then, if anyone is willing to help point the way, I'm totally prepared for the work involved editing the metadata as I'm sure there's a lot to edit for every bike in the game. I just need a point in the right direction to get this started.
its More intuitive to use a gamepad for vehicle driving I know, but I'm getting tired always swapping between kb/mouse and a controller, or avoiding using bikes at all because I can't be bothered using a controller.
Its actually not that bad using a mouse to steer cars once you get used to it. But as we all know, its impossible to steer a bike with a mouse and this is something that R* should have fixed years ago.

Oh God yes! It's so annoying. You can get used to just about anything in that game but not mouse-to-bike steering. I wholeheartedly agree it needs a fix if you like to use mouse for steering purposes.
In fact, it would be nice to have something like a permanent button click for the mouse steering. Because, after a while, you might get uncomfortable having to constantly keep the mouse button pushed to enable steering.

@TheMurderousCricket You can have permanent mouse steering you can set it by default in the options.
