Strange Yellow Filter in the Distance?

  • I've had this issue for a while now, especially so on any map mod that goes outside of the main map borders, where there's this strange yellow "piss like" filter that can be seen in the distance, that disappears up close and appears elsewhere in the distance.

Its been driving me nuts as I personally find this visual glitch to be highly annoying, and was not an issue I had occurred in the past, only recently has this come up. Despite changing graphical options I've been unable to track the source of the issue.

This is not caused by the NaturalVisionRemastered mod as seen in the picture, this occurs even on vanilla graphics.

Is there any way I'd be able to fix this?

This is a Social Club copy of the game running on v1.0.1604.0.

  • Does this happen all the time or just when you venture off the default game world limits?

Total diagnostic shot in the dark but quick & easy enough to test. Try setting x16 Anisotropic Filtering in-game & also support it with x16AF (so x32AF in total) in your GPU's control panel (Nvidia Control Panel/AMD equivalent etc) & see if that makes any difference to it?
In one of my older installs L.A Roads caused a yellowish blur tinge thing on the roads at the horizon (not as bad but similar to yours) which was fixed with 32AF (as above). I've never had the problem with newer installs. No idea what it was.
