ScriptHookV v1.0.1604.0

  • Hello, I'm having a problem, I'm not able to use any MOD or change the files. The graphic mod that I used before did not work (it alters commom / data) and ScriptHookV v1.0.1604.0 is not catching any trainer. have any hangs on my GTA?

The Game is with the latest update available I believe it is v1.0.1604.0

  • @Danilo0101 - Mods need to be updated IAW with the latest game build too. Graphical ones especially.

  • So the problem is that I already installed Script Hook V v1.0.1604.0 does not work

If you post logs found in base folder and screenshots of your game directory we might be able to help more

Also see the links in my profile, did you install all repositories?

Scripts not working? Install Scripthook V and Scripthook V .NET »

  • @Danilo0101 I had a some what similar problem a few weeks back when using that latest version of Script hook V which was realesed on Dec 18 2018 and supports patch v1.0.1604.0. But after searching around I found a mod that by passes the Social club server called GTAVLauncherBypass which can be found here at GTA5Mods.com What I ended up stumping on by looking at a dump log by Scripthook V is that all of the ASI files / scripts that I had installed where running until some where along the ride after launching Grand theft Auto V via GTAVLauncher Script hook would crash which resulted in the modification I added not being present in game. So by using GTAVLauncherBypass It puts you offline which allows ScriptHook V to do its job from my own experience it should solve your dilemma Ganbarou (Good Luck) :wave_tone3:

Using scripts has nothing to do with being offline or online.

  • Lol What are you talking about? Script hook doesn't work for me unless i'm in offline mode so there for it does idk what the relationship between are but they some sort of connection to where I need to be offline

  • What I am talking about (yes, I'll repeat) is that Script Hook functionality has nothing to do with having an internet connection enabled or disabled @OtakuFantasy1... If you can run scripts only when you are offline, it probably means that there is something peculiar going on in your game directory.

I run all SC and SCV .NET dependent scripts even when I am online... And by the way, I don't think I am exceptional in this regard. Just ask other guys around here.

And please, don't insist I did not see something despite the fact I personally, pretty darn, did... :confounded:

    Yup same

  • @TheMurderousCricket I had a fresh install of GTA5 so I don't think so your system may not have this problem but mine did

I'd like to say that I apologize if I offended you I wasn't laughing to be mean I was laughing because your were telling that it doesn't when its something that actually happen to me right in front of my face but none the less I did not have any 3rd party av software etc all I do is produce music and play games on steam so there must be something going on via R* Star Launcher. Now script hook may have nothing something to do with the internet connection or it may not but that doesn't mean that social club could not be doing something to make script hook not function for certain people considering from what you just said quote I run all SC and SCV .NET dependent scripts even when I am online... So it might just be a problem that is rare but happens.

  • If they made a mod that checked the status of scripts you've added that'd be perfect

  • Maybe I did slightly overreact @OtakuFantasy1, I admit. Must be that feggin' neck pain that caught me in the morning... :confounded:

That is puzzling indeed. I cannot think of a reason why would that happen to your scripts, because really - it should not depend on Internet connection...

I think what @SLY95ZER mentions has actually been done to an extent in the form of Script Hook logs.

Think of them as a rule 34 of GTA. If it's in the log - there is a script of it. ;) Point being - all scripts are registered into said logs upon launch and SH is also likely to register errors that happen within these scripts.

If there is anything wrong with Script Hook being affected by the Internet (or lack of it) it will probably show up in there as well.

But apart from that, you also have tools like...

    https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/simple-script-manager

...that let you manage the contents of your scripts folder. This one is just an example. There are more of them.

  • Then I discovered that this occurs only in the copy of the GTAV, ie I created a copy of the original folder to use mods in it and keep the original without any modification to play GTAV ONLINE without problems with bans, however the MOD only work in C: \ Program Files \ Rockstar Games \ Grand Theft Auto V

  • @Danilo0101 - You do not have to make a copy of your entire game folder to be Online-ready.

All you actually need is to:

    1. Move or delete script hook(s).
    2. Turn of the ".asi loader" through OpenIV (or delete or move the "mods" folder). That way, your game will no longer be able to "see" your modifications.

Saves you a trouble of copying and managing two separate folders.
