Tutorial for making new player/ped models?

I experience modelling and i know how to install new peds etc... But is there a video or something to explain how to start converting models to GTA5? I have 3DS Max and Zmodeller 3 if that helps

@NeoAnderson Thank you.. I've been too busy on my own mod to look further into this but this is a great start, many thanks.
Edit: That tutorial is okay but I wish people making them would just put a bit more info in them. He changed all the vertices to orange and then some to black... but why? He changed the max rig bones to 4... but why?
It would be nice if people explained why things are done as well as what things are done. That way people would get a better understanding of what reasons make you do things a certain way... but it's a start, which is more than I had before.
