GTA 5 crashes due to gameconfig files. Help!

  • Hi people, GTA 5 crashes. Throws an error -"no memory game, restart your computer and restart the game"

It started after the installation of the file "Gameconfig (1.0.1604.0)"
    All other mods work fine.

    1. My version of GTA 5 - 1604 1.04 (Social Club)
    2. Gameconfig (1.0.1604.0)
    3. That I already tried - 1 Remove all mods except "gameconfig". 2 Reinstall gta.

Sorry for my English, I'm Belarusian.:flag_by: :grinning:

  • I had that problem i even tried those limit adjusters but the way i fixed it was to get the update.rpf from outside the mods folder in the update folder and replace the mods update.rpf with that one and make sure to backup your dlclist inside mods folder so you do not lose the data.

  • @JeffParkerModHDx I do not understand. Explain briefly and clearly please.
    That need to be replaced?

  • So i had the same problem i went to youtube... I found out it was something to do with my update.rpf in MODS folder so i then replaced the \Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\mods\update\update.rpf with the C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto V\update\update.rpf i THEN backed up my DLCLIST that is inside the mods update.rpf and replaced the original update.rpf thats not in mods folder and well it worked i just added back my dlclist. And if that does not work then do the same steps with the backed up dlclist and whatever you installed into dlclist add back slowely and test to see the originating problem.

  • @mksn34 ,if you installed the gameconfig.xml of F7DO according to your version of the game, then you need to install 1 more file.
