Car mods dont work

So ive been trying to install a few vehicle mods (Boeing 747-8i, Nissan Titan Warrior 2017 (contender replacement), MRAP Cougar 4x4, SA-2 Samson) but none of them seem to work, i place the files where the readme.txt's tell me, i also edit the .xmls with Notepad ++ like the readme's request, yet no sign still.
If you can then please help, i just want to try out these rad vehicles so much.
