Menyoo prop question
-
Sorry for posting here, noone would reply in menyoo comments to me.
My question: is it possible to save props attached to your body in menyoo without saving the whole outfit (without saving clothes etc), just props?
-
@martuksxxxx - Yes. When you hit "save attachments" or "save database" (not really sure what the name is, sorry) all that will be saved are the things you spawned into the world via Menyoo. Character's current outfit is a different pair of shoes (pun not intended.)
-
I was talking about attached objects
-
@martuksxxxx Yes, it’s the same thing but you save the objects in the data base as explained above.
-
@MegaDeveloper If you respawn them from "saved to database" they wont be attached to your character. Also it requires a reference point
-
Hmmm, actually they should be @martuksxxxx. But the thing is that sometimes attachments will indeed not be "weld" to whatever you attached them too. I think it is a bug in Menyoo that just occasionally happens... But if it's a bug-free run, it should work.
I'll take a look at attachments in my free time to check the exact "mode d'emploi", just to make sure. But I think my post above is generally a valid tip.

You were talking about going to spooner menu and then database and save it into the file? because those ask for reference points and they dont save attachments.

Since a model of hash 0 would be invalid, you may be able to remove those lines from the XML file manually, namely ModelHash and PedProperties (the entirety of the node).
Feel free to fork the source and make an option to only apply attachments too. I'd be happy to approve such pull/merge requests.

Thank you, I am not very good with it, but I will try. Most likely end up messing it up
