Mods not working for some reason(e.g 'Simple Trainer' and 'Native Trainer')
I did buy a copy of GTA 5 a long time ago(Non-Steam edition). I've used mods in the past, and back then everything worked fine. I recently reinstalled the game, and not a single mod seems to be working for me. Even a simple trainer('Simple Trainer' and 'Native Trainer') doesn't work. I've installed Scripthook, as well as Scripthookdotnet, and Simple Trainer, but when I press F4, nothing shows up. I've also installed c++ redistribution and .NET files. Currently, I have no idea of what I could have done wrong, and what needs to be done.
Btw, I'm playing on Windows 10.
@Mistful Someone on here the other day had a problem getting native trainer to work. Remove native trainer and make sure you dropped the ASI loader into the main GTAV directory. F3 opens simple trainer.
Thanks for your response. I removed NativeTrainer, but left Scripthook, Scriphookdotnet, and dinput8.dll, as well as TrainerV(SimpleTrainer). The problem seems to persist, and no matter which function button I press(F1, F2, F3, F4...), nothing shows up. Is it possible that the game confuses itself and launches from the stock game folder, instead of the modded folder, even though they're named differently? So far, that seems like the only possible explanation to me.
@Mistful I don't quite understand the layout you've got now for GTA.
Have you got 2 GTA V installations on your computer ? ( 1 for mods and 1 clean ?) Could you take a picture of your GTA V folder for me so i can see the layout please ?
SimpleTrainer, Scripthook, Scriphookdotnet, and dinput8.dll should all be placed inside the main GTA V main directory not into a mods folder.
I'll leave this here as well just in case it helps.
That's correct. I've got 2 GTA V installations on my pc. (1 clean and 1 with mods).
Here are two pictures, one showing the 2 GTA V folders, and one showing the directory of the modded game folder(GTAVinclmods).

@Mistful Ok first check your log files scripthookv.log and asiloader.log and see if there's anything that you can learn from them ( if something is crashing/failing to load )
Secondly i know it sounds silly but have you been launching the right exe ? Go to the modded GTA directory and launch PlayGTAV.exe.
Third make sure just quickly for me that you've got the latest asi loader. http://www.dev-c.com/gtav/scripthookv/
I checked both of those files(scripthookv.log and asiloader.log) and neither of them gave any indication of failing to load.
ASI loader: https://ibb.co/RDBH3q4
I launch the game via PlayGTAV.exe, as usual.
From what I can see, I have the latest version of the asi loader (1.0.1604.1).
At this point, I'm pretty much going to give up on mods for GTA5. I've done everything I can, and it doesn't seem to work.
Thank you for your time and effort. Have a nice day.
