I really need help regarding a car mod conflict

  • Hi guys.

I have 23 add-on cars installed. They all work perfectly. However, yesterday, I installed another car mod and when I got into the game, the car seems to spawn fine, but it has no tuning parts even though there should be plenty. I can't tune it with a trainer or in LS Customs. I figured that car's tuning is conflicting with one of my other car mods.

Thing is, I've never had this issue before and I don't know how to solve it. Is there any way of solving this? I really don't want to delete my currently installed car mods one by one and start the game over and over until I find which one is conflicting with the latest one. Even if I do that and find the car that is conflicting, I don't want to delete either one, I would really like to have them both in the game and both of them working properly. I think I read something about changing some values in OPENIV, but I don't remember exactly. If there's a way to have the cars stop conflicting with each other, can someone please walk me through the process of doing it? I've never done it and I don't want to screw it up. Thanks.

  • @BrianThompson
A good place to start is probably this [Tutorial] How to Fix Modkit ID / Tuning Error thread.

Also, here is a 5mods focused google search for "Modkit ID" that you can use to search for more info on the subject

  • Thank you very much, man. I'll try those.
