Zmodeler 3 collisions not working

On my xj crawler mod my front bumper collisions only seem to work when hitting a pedestrian or another vehicle, but in game it goes straight through walls, trees, anything fixed to the ground really. i have followed several different tutorials but i cant seem to get it to work. any ideas? any helps appreciated. thanks
