Very fast Shadow flicker with NaturalVision Remastered Mod!

  • *I'm sorry I'm using a Google Translator

I wanted to make the gta5 even nicer and more realistic.
    So I installed that mod.

However, the flickering is so severe that it can not be used.

    -Things I've tried-
    ENB only
    ReShade and ENB

    and simple trainer

There were no differences in the above two options
I guess the simple trainer does not seem to be the cause.

And I tried this solution but it was useless :(

    please help me!

  • @klqweu1682
Google translate worked well anyway

Can you list all the other mods you have installed & also the specs (CPU, GPU, how much RAM etc) of your PC? Thanks

If you have the Single Player Apartment mod, try removing it. This has been known to cause lights to flicker ON & OFF (related to how far away from the player they are) when used in combination with NVR. Worth eliminating anyway as it may be messing other stuff up too.

    • Did you install the 'timecyclemods.asi' file to your GTA V root folder (where GTA5.exe is) when you installed NVR? If not, try it out & if you did install it, try removing it (just to see if it has anything to do with it )

    • Does it happen on all timecycle weathers or just some?

    • Does it happen all the time? Day & night? Every hour or just at certain times of day? Any times when it doesn't appear etc?

    • Are there any times of day/night where it gets worse or better? ie Any variation in how it appears or is it the same however & whenever it happens?

    • If you leave all other files/settings the same as you have them now & default only your timecycle files ('w_extrasunny.xml' etc including 'timecycle_mods_1>4') back to vanilla does the problem go away?

  • @a63nt-5m1th

First, I apologize for the late reply. I forgot. :(

These are the mods I installed. There is no mod other than that.

    My pc Spec
    CPU : i5 8400
    GPU : emtec xenon gtx1060 3gb
    RAM : SAMSUNG 16gb ram
    Motherboard : Gigabyte B360M-DS3H
    SSD : Samsung 256Gb ssd
    HDD : 1TB WD blue

I have never installed Single Player Apartment mod...

Yes timecyclemods.asi This really has been installed. I clearly remember. Now I have removed the mod, so I can not check the file, but I've reinstalled it more than 4 times.

In addition to the bugs that occur during the day, such as YouTube videos, there are some flickering lights at night, just like the forum links.
But after modifying that file, it was not clear if the symptoms were the same at night.

    back to the subject

I think it has nothing to do with the weather when I play.

The symptoms of road texture bugs in YouTube videos are mainly in the daytime, and I do not see I have experienced such symptoms at night.

    There's one thing that's unique.
It is unusual to see such symptoms when moving fast like a car and it often happens when i moving slowly (walking).

    I have done <light_falloff_mult> 1.0000 1.0000 1.0000 1.0000 1.0000 1.0000 1.0000 1.0000 1.0000 1.0000 1.0000 1.0000 1.0000 </ light_falloff_mult>
I remember having saved the(Just like the post on the forum) w_clear, clearing, extrasunny, foggy, neutral, overcast, rain and smog timecycle files with edit mode in OpenIV. (Open IV > GTA V > update > update.rpf > common > data > timecycle)

However, timecycle_mods_1> 4 did not change because the format is different from the above sentences in the forum. Also, the forum did not care about those files because they did not change the files.

One thing I was wondering is, should I have also modified the timecyclemods.asi, timecyclemods.ini files? I can not remember whether I did this or not.

P.S. thank you very much for your hard work trying to help! I was impressed! :D
