Traffic light disappeared gta5

  • First of all sorry for my English, it's a pity :).

Let's go some time to here I realized that all traffic lights disappeared in gta5, all cars stop right and respect the signage but the post and the traffic light no longer exists. I have already tried to remove all the scripts but without success :( could they help me?

As you can see in the pictures the posts and the traffic lights no longer exist :(

  • I don't see any pictures but let me ask this. Are you driving too fast when this happens? If so do the world textures dissapear as well? If they do then it's linked to the game not loading right from your hard drive. This is a very common thing in GTA V. I have it rarely but it happens. Signs and posts and lights don't pop out. The only way to fix it is by getting an SSD and installing the game there. I don't see any pictures so my bad if it isn't happening like this.

  • @alefrofer
Hmm? Not sure, but here's a few ideas:

    TRAFFIC LIGHT PROPS (x64H.RPF):
Do you have this directory in your game:

    ...\mods\x64h.rpf\levels\gta5\props\roadside\v_traffic_lights.rpf

Perhaps make a backup of your 'mods' folder 'x64.rpf' & then default it back to vanilla using the one in the game folder. See if they reappear?

    VISUALSETTINGS.DAT:
    Also, check 'visualsettings.dat':

    ...\mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\visualsettings.dat

& make sure 'lod.fadedist.orphanhd' is set to '20':

    # lod fade distances
    lod.fadedist.orphanhd	20.0

    CODEWALKER:
Try Codewalker & see if they appear in that?

    Codewalker Traffic Lights

Note: Even if they aren't visible in Codewalker, try to right-click an area where one might be (could be diagnostically valid if they are still there but just invisible, although I suspect they are gone completely with no collision ingame?). Once you start Codewalker you open the right-side info box by hitting the arrow button top right, then follow what's highlighted in the pic

    MAP EDITOR:
Map Editor might be another to try & see if you can find any of the traffic light props & whether they are visible? Search for 'traffic' using Map Editor's in-built prop search (think it's Square (PS)/X(XB) to search by name once map Editor has loaded).

Got any other info surrounding the disappearance of your traffic lights? Any newly installed mods (especially map mods)/game changes/other weird game behaviour etc?

Let me know how you get on with that anyway & any other info you think might be relevant

  • @Algonquin1234 To tell you the truth, I do not even walk normally, no traffic light or light pole appears in the game, as you can see in the photo I'm stopped and the post and the traffic light is no longer there, that for all places disappeared from nowhere.

  • @a63nt-5m1th Hello, I hope that my English does not disturb the understanding but let's go.

I made the items informed but the traffic light is there but when I start the game I can go anywhere, be it apé, car, moto, etc but they do not appear. Until I thought it could be because I walk fast but even if I walk after they do not show up.

I followed the informed procedures and got these images.

Now when I'm in the game stay like this, see how strange it is:

Yeah, that's weird. Never seen that before. I have no idea what could be causing it?!

Does it happen when you load up vanilla game/no mods?

    Try:

Make backups of current 'update.rpf', 'common.rpf' & 'x64h.rpf' 'mods' folder archives & then replace them with vanilla versions from the game folder. See if any change in-game?
To rule out all other '.rpf's you should also test your vanilla game/no mods & see if it happens there too.
