Change radio station in safehouse

  • @LeeC2202 Maybe you already know this or it might not help if you don't, but when I have the radio set to a forced default using Simple Trainer it also made the radio stations in all of my apartments from SPA default to the same station. In my case that's always Self Radio. I have no idea why or how it's done, but maybe it can help in your search.

  • @kaddigart That's because SPA uses the mobile radio, which is basically the phone version of what's in your car. So what you have in your car, is what you get on the mobile radio.

    I'm a little late to the party, LOL, but mobile radio is indeed different from that infernal hip-hop radio station in Franklin's house.

    I looked at the interior manifest, but so far can't find anything that is supposed to emit anything. And that 'decompiled scripts' link, sadly, no longer is valid.

    @LeeC2202 Well, go figure! Looks like someone already made a mod for that damn radio: Tunable Home Radio And, by golly, it works! :)

    @meimeiriver No problem :D It's much more clean than the decompiled scripts from listener.

    Turns out the Tunable Home Radio mod forgot an entry, namely v_res_fh_speakerdock in Franklin's bedroom, which still emits the irritating hiphop music (albeit rather softly). Look for it in the residental props, open the ytyp map, and behold:

    <Item type="CBaseArchetypeDef">
      <lodDist value="100.00000000"/>
      <flags value="549584896"/>
      <specialAttribute value="0"/>
      <bbMin x="-0.16103700" y="-0.07048200" z="-0.13841100"/>
      <bbMax x="0.16103700" y="0.07048200" z="0.12384400"/>
      <bsCentre x="0.00000000" y="0.00000000" z="-0.00728349"/>
      <bsRadius value="0.21930580"/>
      <hdTextureDist value="5.00000000"/>
      <name>v_res_fh_speakerdock</name>
      <textureDictionary>v_res_fh_txd</textureDictionary>
      <clipDictionary/>
      <drawableDictionary/>
      <physicsDictionary>int_residential</physicsDictionary>
      <assetType>ASSET_TYPE_DRAWABLE</assetType>
      <assetName>v_res_fh_speakerdock</assetName>
      <extensions>
        <Item type="CExtensionDefAudioEmitter">
          <name>v_res_fh_speakerdock</name>
          <offsetPosition x="0.00702667" y="0.00068665" z="-0.07116000"/>
          <offsetRotation x="0.00000000" y="0.00000000" z="1.00000000" w="0.00000000"/>
          <effectHash value="1133430269"/>
        </Item>
      </extensions>
    </Item>

    If anyone wants the audio gone, just delete the <extensions> section with the CExtensionDefAudioEmitter definition in it (all in mods, of course).

    N.B. Going to try and apply this audio extension on another object too. That might be interesting. :)

  • No idea how you change Radio station inside the SafeHouse!
    But with my mod https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/skip-radio-song
    Skip-Radio-Song You can skip songs inside the player safehouse. :P
