mods are being downloaded as word docs

i click to download and the file open in microsoft word:mods downloding as word docs(ALL mods) how i change it??

Look at the file extension and make sure you have something installed that opens that type of file. If you can't see the extension, search for "show file extensions" for whichever version of windows you're using.
Instead of SHOUTING, you just had to search for "open file with a different programme" and you would have found lots of answers.

Make sure you have an archive manager installed, such as 7-zip or WinRAR. Then right-click on one of the mods, click Open With, and select the archive manager program.

the archive manager is not working, the mods continue as docs, and there are no extensions at the chrome, i think
a year ago, I selected in the mod download (in this site), always open with microsoft
word, how do I change ?.

When you use Open With, make sure to check the checkbox to make it the default program.

Look for .zip and .rar. Change the default program to 7-zip or WinRAR.

You may want your .pdf files, or email, or music to automatically open using an app other than the one provided by Microsoft. To choose default apps by file type. scroll down and select Choose default apps by file type.
