Haven't modded in 2 years

Unfortunately, 2 years ago, I needed a good computer to run my 64" printer. So I used my gaming machine and stopped modding. My son has been on my case forever to buy a new PC. He loved the mods. I kept telling him that chances were good that the mods wouldn't work anymore. So yesterday, I bought a new PC tower, downloaded gta5 then started downloading everything I would need to mod with low expectations lol. It's like riding a bike, it all came back to me. My first add-on to try was a c10. Also downloaded Menyoo cause that's what I was used to. To my surprise, I started the game and went through the opening mission and omg,,,every single mod was working flawlessly! All that to say.... thanks to everyone on here, you guys rock! Happy modding!

Reassuring indeed @JCMgraphics, is it not? But! For the sake of an "emergency copy", did you know that you could even copy the entire GTA, run it on a different machine and the game would still work?
Just like that!This, of course, is assuming you have a valid and legal account with Rockstar. So it is a spare copy method. Not a gate for piracy [yep, this was a disclaimer.]

@TheMurderousCricket I can make a new post but thought I'd ask you first lol. I understand mods are SP only but I see tons of videos of people using mods and playing together,,, is there a way to play online privately with friends?

I suppose you can. Do take a note, however, that anything past this paragraph might be gibberish based on my understanding of things thus far...
So... There is this thing called "FiveM" and, as far as I can tell, the core concept of this ,euhhh, resource (?) is a possibility to play GTAV collectively, within a modded environment. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to take a look if you're interested.
