my gta 5 is crashing everytime i load into story mode

i've been playing gta 5 for years now, installed a couple mods here and there.
all of a sudden, like maybe about a year ago i log in after a while and the game just crashes when i load into story mode.
i didnt think much of this because all i did was just play for a quick game of just playing around in story mode.
but since then, it's been happening ever since. i've tried removing mods and such, verified integrity of my files, and still, nothing.
i guess the launcher logs tell something but i don't know what any of this means.
