patchday19ng / Mpbattles not working

So how do I put this. My GTA is not cracked. However, my GTA does not have patchday19ng and Mpbattles installed for some reason. I did install them from a friend but once installing them into my dlcpacks folder and editing the dlclist.xml it doesn't work in-game. Neither the cars work or any of the interiors. Is there a different way to install them?
