Bring modern San Andreas into its 50's glory with a major retexture of all billboards, many storefronts and shops, houses / apartments / safehouses, service vehicles, attractions and more! The main focus is to make LS look like it did in the 50s. However, that's not all. I plan on having the ability to eat at restaurants, ride public transit and Greyhound, use public telephones, buy cars at many dealerships around LS, and more!
Enjoy it even more with Grand Theft VR!
When will it be released?
The trailer should release August 29th, 2017.
You can expect to be able to download it a few days later.The full Retro Five including styled props, removed technology, vintage vehicles, and clothing is to be decided.
How will it be installed?
The city-wide textures will be installed via OIV package.
Textures by neighborhood will be installed manually.(with simple instructions and/or video tutorial)
The full version will mostly be installed by OIV, however for the best experience it may require that you install other mods.

@aidenpatrickPGH I don't think @ChOcOsKiZo is implying that you might be accused of stealing from Redux (which would be truly ironic), more that your name associates itself with a mod that a lot of people don't like, because of what happened.
So anyone looking through the threads, might automatically skip past this, simply because of what it says in the title. That one word might be the deciding factor between someone taking an interest and someone ignoring it.
It's unfortunate that such an appropriate word has been tarnished by such inappropriate actions but at this point in time "Redux" is the mod equivalent to Voldemort

This would be perfect if you could tie it in with a BTTF time travel mod. Start the game in present day Los Santos, set the time circuits, arrive in 50's Los Santos.

I was sat here thinking "Retro Five... what's the five for?". I might have got it if it had been "Retro V"... it's a good job I can laugh at myself isn't it? 
In my (very feeble) defence, my brain is in too many places trying to fix an unsuspecting bug, whilst also being happy at fixing a persistent bug,

Wow! This a very ambitious mod. Looks great. Just my 2 cents worth, i think Retro V is a pretty fitting name.
