Game wont load with Natural Vision.
-
Downloaded NVA and everything went fine in OpenIV. I launch the game and the launcher opens, I see the NVA logo in the bottom left and think "sweet it worked" I press 'single player' and the game starts to load. Then it freezes for a sec and closes. I get a screen with the Rockstar Social Club logo on it. It says i had an unknown error and that i should restart the game in safe mode.
This is a problem i keep running into, some mods will work perfectly fine. For example ive downloaded 4 car mods and they all work just fine. But sometimes ill download a mod and the game will do the same thing i just mentioned. Ive looked all over the internet and the main things people say are to make sure all of the essential things are there. I have every version of script hook, the DOTnet version, the community version, all of it. I have Windows 10 so i have the Microsoft software. I have the C++ thing. I have all the latest updates. I even have the mod that lets you add more cars to make sure i didnt have and memory issues. The only thing i didnt have is a 'scripts folder'. I added that in and redownloaded NVA and still no luck. The only other person who had a similar issue to me that i could find on this site didnt have any responses.
I opened the Event Viewer and this is all the info i got...

</Event>I dont know what to do with this info at all, but hopefully someone here does. I pretty much am just begging at this point because i dont want to have to do a reinstall of my game, and not even know if that will solve my issue. Ive run the Steam tool that checks for essential files and everything is good. When i open the game without the Mods folder it works fine, but i bought this game to use mods, not just to play the vanilla game for the 5th or 6th time now.
If you have any idea no matter how out there it might be please drop it to me. If i did something wrong please let me know. Im not new at modding, but i definitely wouldn't say im a pro. Ive used mods on Fallout 4 and NBA 2k19, but they have total different steps. If my question has already been solved please drop the link or let me know. If you need more info to help me out let me know and ill do my best to give it to you.
Thanks for taking the time to read.

Boosting

@Emmit Have to be uber-careful with mods on this site. It is VERY poorly maintained.....I cannot tell you how many broken mods there are, that are NEVER removed....just left standing, as if they are actually legitimate. You have a status access violation, which means you have either a conflict or a "broken mod". You will need to list ALL your mods, EXCLUDING scripts.
Also you should show a screenshot of your root directory - where your gta5.exe is located.
-
@Emmit As mentioned not every mod is working and fully working with all other mods. That's the biggest issue while using many mods from different creators. If it is doin' just with some mods that means problem is somewhere in that mods. Most times mods which are changing main meta files can cause this.
If you are just replacing vehicles for example and game didn't even load you may do some mistake in meta file. Coz normally if vehicle is broken, game load but crash after spawning vehicle in traffic near you or using trainer.

@eshenk @ArmaniAdnr I ended up reinstalling because i came home from work and the game worked just fine. Then i tried to put in a mod that changed my fov and it was having the same problems. Tried taking that mod out and the game went back to crashing so i just decided to reinstall and watch a tutorial. @eshenk is NVR currently working, because thats the only mod i really care about.

@Emmit NVR works fine, I have edited the F out of that mod for sometime now. The author made a terrible decision with all his carcols.meta edits....if you don't want these ugly-ass headlights and taillights, it is recommended to use notepad ++, use the replace function to change <emmissiveBoost value="true" /> to false. Also it is advised that you install Visual V, and then install NVR over top it.
