hair UV mapping

Hi, I'm trying to UV map a hi-poly hair model but don't know how to. (Never UV mapped anything)
Any help would be appreciated, thx.

@Hetraet It depends on the model and how it is set up. When you say hi-poly how is the hair constructed? Are you trying to add a fibermesh hair, or is it long strips (hair cards) ?
