Zmoderler UVMapping windows help

I followed a Tut. on editing vehicle glass textures in Zmodeler in which I had to make a transparent glass image in Gimp then go into the materials browser and create a new material to adapt the Vehicle_vehglass profile and import the created texture into it which shows up fine when I UV map the glass but when I export it and open it in OpenIV or the game, the glass is all white. I need some guidance of what went wrong to fix it to do it the right way, thanks
